Applications must be received by Hawaii Energy within 12 months of the date that a qualifying charging station was installed, activated, and made available for use (“EVCS Effective Date”) unless otherwise specified in the program rules. Applicants may apply for any number of Level 2 EVCS rebates per site and up to two (2) DC Fast Charger rebates per site. EVCS units must be networked and provide a minimum of 3kW of power output for Level 2 stations and 40kW for DC fast chargers. EVCS must meet the availability requirements. Installations that serve a single person, such as a reserved parking stall or a single-family residence, shall not be eligible for rebates.
